① Kiyomizu Temple, Gion District
Gion District: Stroll through Kyoto's most famous geisha district. With its preserved wooden machiya houses, narrow streets, and the chance to glimpse geishas and maikos, Gion is a window into Kyoto's traditional past.
Yasaka Shrine: Visit this vibrant Shinto shrine, famous for its annual Gion Matsuri festival. Explore the beautifully landscaped gardens and admire the striking vermilion architecture.
Chionin temple: This is one of the most famous temples in Kyoto. Its official name is Kachozan Chionkyoin Otani-ji Temple.
Kiyomizu Temple: This iconic UNESCO World Heritage site, renowned for its wooden stage that juts out from the main hall, offering breathtaking views of Kyoto. Wander through the temple grounds and drink from the Otowa Waterfall, believed to grant wishes.

② Arashiyama, Nijyo castle District

Mikane shrine: Torii gate, the traditional Japanese gate of a shrine, is usually vermilion. But this Mikane Shrine is gold. It’s know by people who want to be rich.
Nijyo castle: It’s one of the most famous castle since 1626.
Kurumazaki Shrine: A lesser-known gem, this shrine is dedicated to the deity of performing arts and is a tranquil spot to learn about traditional Japanese culture.
Arashiyama: Explore this picturesque area known for its stunning bamboo groves, scenic river views, and the iconic Togetsukyo Bridge.
We will visit more places in Arashiyama.
③ Kitano Tenmangu Shrine, Kamishichiken District

Kitano Tenmangu Shrine: Dedicated to Sugawara no Michizane, the deity of learning, this shrine is a must-visit for students and scholars. The surrounding gardens are particularly beautiful during plum blossom season.
Kamishichiken: Explore Kyoto’s oldest geisha district, known for its traditional teahouses and serene atmosphere. This area is less touristy, offering a more intimate experience of Kyoto's cultural heritage.
Tasting one of the Tofu or Tofu skin (Yuba) dish or Sawa-mochi.
